Well Branded: Ladurée

Thursday, January 6th, 2011

I am officially in love with the Ladurée brand! From the pale pastel packaging with the gold foil printing to the coordinating delivery trucks, every detail is exquisite! Ladurée is a luxury patisserie originally from Paris, France. Serving all kinds of sweets, Ladurée is most well known for their colorful macarons. Now if only I could manage a trip to one of those shops myself, I might faint from all the beauty and sugar! Swoon!

Well Branded: Constellation & Co.

Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

I’m loving the identity package for this new local design boutique here in Seattle. Husband and wife team, Brad and Sara McNally, recently opened their design studio which focuses on letterpress, screen printing and handmade ephemera. The Constellation & Co. brick and mortor shop will be opening soon and I can’t hardly wait!

Some details from their beautiful custom wedding invitation collection.

Well Branded: Flour Pot

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

This identity system for the Flour Pot Bakery just might be my favorite yet! From the cheerful color palette and the whimsical hand-drawn type, it’s charming without being over-the-top.

Sara Nicely, the brilliant designer behind the design, created the system to best illustrate the natural baked goods and eclectic shop environment. The best part is the strategically placed menu on the baguette bag so that customers can carry it home and read it while enjoying their loaf – brilliant!

Stitch Design Co. Stationery

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

I am so impressed with this stationery suite for Stitch Design Co. While I could have easily categorized this post in the Well Branded series, I felt that it needed it’s own category of AWESOME for it’s sheer beauty and brilliance!

From the clean and simple typography to the beautiful and ornate stamps on the envelope liner, every aspect was meticulously thought out and executed. The added touch of coral color to the edges of the business cards and note cards add yet another level of sophistication to the set. The letterpress printing was done by their sister company, Sideshow Press and you can see more images of the suite on the Stitch Design Blog.

Well Branded: Pandora Bell

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

You know when you see something so sweet you wish you could literally climb through your screen to get a taste? No, I’m not talking about Tim Riggins but you get the idea (wink!) Well this identity and beautiful packaging for Pandora Bell leaves me light headed!

Pandora Bell is a premium confectionary brand located in Ireland. Studio Output was tasked with creating a sophisticated identity for the small brand which was inspired by vintage packaging. Modern finishes were used in order to contemporize the system. I particularly adore the creative use of patterns and the versatility of the logo. Tasty in every possible way!
