I’ve been working on a new addition to the Etsy shop recently and I’m thrilled to be able to share with all of you! I wanted to create a unique Save The Date card based off of a matchbook. The covers are letterpressed in gold metallic ink onto light blue, pink or green stock. Inside, are custom magnets that are perforated at the bottom so they can be torn off and saved on a refrigerator.

I am so excited with how these turned out and have definitely been inspired by lace and spring colors! You can check out the new Save The Dates here – hope you like them!

It’s a little past calendar season but I happened upon this embroidered one via the Behance Network and was blown away! What a clever idea and equally beautiful in execution.

This one-off design was created by design student Iwona Przybyla from Poland. All her work is quite impressive and I wish that I could read Polish so that I could follow along on her blog. Definitely worth checking out either way, full of fantastic inspiration!

April Sponsor Thanks!

April 8th, 2011 | Comments Off on April Sponsor Thanks!

Wow, this year is going by quickly, it’s hard to believe it’s already April! On that note, I’d like to welcome our newest sponsor, Pinky Swear Designs, to Twig & Thistle!

Pinky Swear Designs began when Lauren and Alina both realized they couldn’t find personalized jewelry that they loved. Each have design backgrounds and have loved using their combined experiences and talents to make something really personal and special for their customers. Every single piece they make is “from scratch” and they put a lot of love and thought into the pieces.

I love the charming handcrafted quality to each of their pieces and any of them would make for a perfect mother’s day gift! Please take a moment to check out what they have to offer as well as the rest of our sponsors. For more Pinky Swear, check out their blog too!

Every now and then I can go for a good dose of cute!

Photos By Heather Bullard

Most bake sales I’ve been to entail a lot of plastic wrap and Tupperware but these photos by Heather Bullard are enough to wipe this memories away. Everything is just darling but I think the vintage props are what really take the cake. Make sure to check out the rest of her portfolio, it’s a real treat!
