I get so much joy from reading all of your comments and it gives me an opportunity to discover new blogs each and everyday. I find myself so enthrawred and litterally unable to keep up! It’s so exciting to know that there is so much to be discovered each time I sit down to my computer.

My latest find is the delightful Grate Full Day blog. Lindsey stole my heart with her recent post about Anthropologie’s summer Dip Dyed Windows. As most of you know by now I have a thing for Anthropologie, a crush as it were. Their collective genius is endless and this seasons merchandising is no exception. From the Anthropologie’s Facebook Page:

” Each is a joyful tribute to summer color—from pineapple gold and purple basil to crustacean red and saltwater teal. Each, too, is a testament to the passion and drive of our visual team—from scouring thrift stores for fabric scraps to dip-dying and drying, it was quite a process.”

Don’t you just love Anthro. I too share an unhealthy obsession. I have one dangerously close to my house. DANGEROUSLY.

Anthropologie has a Facebook page? Yes! I’ve been shopping at Anthropologie since I was 14 (so, 10 years) and I can’t even get enough of it. Now that I’m an adult I’ve moved on to buying their home goods, too. And luckily my husband has good taste and totally “gets” Anthropologie, too! 🙂

I am a display coordinator at Anthropologie in Newport Beach, CA and we also have the dyed spectrum windows. Ours are a bit different and I didn’t get to dye my fabric in the woods, but they were so fun to create!

I also made dip dyed canvas totes to be given out to our customers. You can check them out here: ruthiauda.com/blog/?p=1280

I could live at Anthropology! I have a picture of a wall in one of their stores in New York City, it’s on my site I think, and I’m working on one for my home. It’s covered in white, ecru and beige strips of ruffled fabric. Oh! and their folded book pages! I did that in my house too! I have a pic and tutorial for that I think too! As you can tell, I am also obsessed!

i love their window displays too! i love them so much, that i called my local store after one of my weekly visits and asked if i could have their dip dyed summer display to use to decorate my wedding tent once it was taken down. the display designer obliged and i couldn’t be happier. you guys should try it out–happy decor hunting!

  18. Teresa Says:

As far as I’m concerned, Anthropologie can do no wrong.

Since this post, I’ve been in love with Antropologie, without even having been there. A couple weeks ago, I was in New York City for the first time, and found it! I had to go in, and I’m even more in love. The massive typography used all over as decoration was fantastic. It has definitely given me ideas as to how I want to decorate in the future.
