Five Days of Felt: No. 1

December 13th, 2010

The Five Days of Felt series was a big hit last year so I’ve decided to bring it back! I’ll be sharing some of my favorite felt crafts that I’ve spotted throughout the year and posting them every day this week.

The Purl Bee has some of my favorite felt crafts this season. Take this twisted felt garland for example! This would be stunning on a tree or draped over a mantel. I also love the idea of using these as party decor later in the year. Nothing beats adorable decorations that can be used again and again.

Get the complete instructions at the Purl Bee and learn how to make it into a necklace or even a bracelet. Have fun!

I have been so inspired by all of the felt projects on PurlBee for the holidays that I made one of my own — a felt tree skirt:

I also tackled their felt circle garland, I love how they look on the tree!

Felt is so perfect for the holidays because it is easy to use and screams comfort. I like the idea of them being twisted together. They remind me of candy.
