These are seriously some of the coolest posters I’ve seen in awhile. Both conceptually and visually brilliant, designer Allen Peters did an incredible job! They so perfectly capture the best part of country fairs: food on sticks, and preferably fried! I can only imagine the crowd these drew and the number of posters lost to “collectors”. I wish I could get a set of these for my kitchen, they’re just so darn clever!

Earth Hour is March 27th and the company I work for, Hornall Anderson, is doing their part to raise awareness of the cause. Above are some of the collateral pieces created to promote the event. My favorite are the posters that glow in the dark which were overprinted onto discarded test prints generously donated by a local print shop. Lastly the folks in our interactive department created a beautiful microsite to get people committed to participating. If you have the time I encourage you to head on over to HA’s Earth Hour Page, lend your support and mark your calendar’s!
I know Lost started up a couple weeks ago and to be honest I’m not as into it as I used to be, but these posters remind me of all the things that made Lost so great. Designer Ty Mattson has done a wonderful job capturing the spirit of the show, my favorite hands down is the Dharma Van; every time I see it I can’t stop thinking about Hurley bouncing around the island in it. 🙂
UPDATE: Thanks to a tip from Ty himself, these posters are now available through the store on ABC.com. Thanks Ty!
