The Handsome!

Friday, April 29th, 2011

One of my favorite series online is The Handsom on Oh, Hello Friend and I was beyond excited when Danni asked my hubs Joseph to participate! The Handsome is where Danni interviews husbands of bloggers for a peak behind the curtain and into their day-to-day lives. Joseph was so honored and had a blast with the interview!

If you have a moment and would like to learn a little about my own little handsome than head on over to read his interview. Big thanks to Danni and of course to my husband for making Twig & Thistle possible!

Sponsor Thanks + Interview

Friday, May 28th, 2010

I’m signing off early this week for the long holiday weekend but before I do I wanted to thank all our sponsors and welcome our newest one, Bonbon Charms. Bonbon Charms specializes in custom handcrafted jewelry by Erica Clements of Eugene, Oregon. Her collection includes charms for necklaces, bracelets and custom pieces. Be sure sure to check out her shop for all the lovely goodies!

Also, last week I had the pleasure of being interviewed on the Fossil Life and Style Blog. Who knew Fossil had a blog?! I’d missed it somehow and was incredibly delighted and honored that they wanted to include me in their 3 Questions series.

I had a blast answering their questions and you can read my responses here. If you’ve ever wondered how Twig & Thistle got started you can find out how it all began here. I hope you’ll stop on over and see what other creative stuff they have posted. This tutorial, on how to cover pencils in paper for example, is brilliant! Have a great long weekend everyone and I’ll see you back here Tuesday!

Sugar & Sweets by Katie Kirk

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

I recently purchased this Sugar & Sweets Print by Katie Kirk and couldn’t keep the joy all to myself. I love Katie’s work beyond words and I’m ecstatic that I now own a piece of it. This image doesn’t do it justice, it’s even sweeter in person! The gold shines in the light and the details are immaculate! A girl after my own heart, she was inspired by Martha Stewart, Amy Atlas, Coppola’s Marie Antoinette and Willy Wonka. Swoon!

See more of Katie’s work at her design site, Eight Hour Day or purchase your own from her Etsy shop. Lot’s more great stuff to see!

On a completely unrelated note, Maggie of magchunk has put together a fun interview of me on her lovely blog. It was so sweet of Maggie to invite me to share more about myself and I had so much fun answering her questions! If you’d like to take a look you can read the full post here and I hope you enjoy it!

As Seen On: Jack & Izzy

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

I wanted to thank the lovely Sarah of Jack & Izzy for featuring me in her weekly Spotlight column today. Sarah introduced me to her blog and amazing Etsy shop last week and I was completly smitten with her online stationary botique! She has the most charming collection of invitations, note cards and favors! I am so honored that she asked me to participate and I hope you’ll take some time today to pop over and read my mini interview.

Thanks so much Sarah!
