Guilt Free Mousse!

May 2nd, 2011

I have the worst sweet tooth in the world which makes losing weight a bit of a challenge. So it’s always nice when you discover simple tricks that make you feel like you’re getting all the sweets you want but without all the guilt. In case any of you are plagued with the need for sweets like myself, then I have the perfect little treat!

Just fold 2 tablespoons of ย fat free cool whip intoย a 60 calorie pudding snack and you’ve got 75 calories of filling and deliciously indulgent mousse! It totally hits the spot and no remorse included! Yummers, hope you enjoy!

This sounds yummy! I like guilt-free chocolate ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve got a crazy sweet tooth as well, but I have to burst your bubble: Cool Whip and that jello are nothing but nasty chemicals. So you might be saving calories and fat, but you’re not giving your body any actual food ingredients to work with. You’d be better off having a bit of good, dark chocolate. Your body knows how to process that (check the label for creepy ingredients of course) versus the corn syrup and hydrogenated vegetable oil in Cool Whip.

I totally agree Amber and thank you for pointing that out. Everything in moderation indeed and certainly when there is no nutritional value whatsoever! This is for when I need something a little heartier than a piece of chocolate but portioned out so I can’t get into trouble ๐Ÿ˜‰

this could be a really good thing…or a really bad thing, knowing I would probably eat it all in one setting, hah!

I have done this too, but usually add a tablespoon or two of semi-sweet chocolate chips for crunch. Makes it even more satisfying. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Just a suggestion.
