Paper Covered Books
March 25th, 2011
I came across these covered books on Pinterest last week and fell in love! Liz Tamanaha of Paislee Press created these beautifully simple covers and shared a tutorial on her blog. I love how any book can get anĀ elegant makeover with just a few easy steps. See the complete tutorial and get free downloadable labels here.

Very clever! As a book cover designer and book cover lover, I love seeing new ideas/ways of making the books on your shelves personalized. Very smart!

I recently covered a set of books behind glass doors with manuscript wrapping paper (cream with dark blue writing). I combined them with lots of mercury glass and silver picture frames and love the overall crispness and uniformity.

Hi, Kathleen! I took sometime to catch up your blog tonight via my RSS feed reader, and when I saw this, I had to click over and comment. LOVE these! They are so elegant and creative. My book collection is such a mish-mash, and I love the idea of bringing the books into the room as a truly decorative element and key player in the overall decor. Fantastic idea. Thanks for sharing!
