I stumbled upon this set of illustrated letters on Flickr and fell in love! These were designed by Dustin Wallace for his new son, Asher. Each was printed onto canvas and wrapped around a wood frame. I adore that each letter has an added illustration; A for Ant, S for Squirrel, H for Hare, E for Earthworm and R for Robin. Such a brilliant idea and a special gift to a wee one!

My thoughts are with the people and families in Japan. As the images continue to come in and the devastation worsens, my heart goes out to all that have been affected. As a way of honoring the tragedy in Japan, I will be taking part in the Bloggers Day of Silence, tomorrow, March 18th. Along with over 200 bloggers, we will silence our blogs in hopes of taking the day to reflect and revere the disaster in Japan.
The lovely ladies of Utterly Engaged and Ever Ours have joined with ShelterBox to create a fundraising site called For Japan With Love. ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth and dignity to people affected by disaster worldwide. If you’d like to donate or would like more information please visit For Japan With Love and ShelterBox. Please donate what you can and encourage others to do the same. Thank you and lot’s of love! xoxo

Today’s Well Sent comes from a St. Patrick’s Day-inspired wedding photoshoot by Rebecca Hansen. This beautiful event was designed around a green, white and gold color palette and 60’s vintage elements.
While I normally would only highlight the paper details in this column, the elements around this shoot are utterly stunning and too good not to share! Enjoy all the lovely details on the Ruffled blog and be sure to check out the full gallery as well.
Another adorable St. Patrick’s Day project to add to the list! Created by Alexandria Hedin, these Just Plain Lucky Tees are perfect for the whole family! Simple and super adorable and just the right amount of charm! Get the instructions and template from Alexandria’s blog.
Fun little story, Alexandria and I went to high school together here in Seattle and ended up working together at Starbucks in the creative department. We both went on to separate jobs and lost touch but have since reconnected through the blog world. I love the web connections and friends I’ve made over the years and I’m so fortunate to be surrounded but such talented people!
