Giving Thanks

November 19th, 2009

Scouting the inter-webs yesterday I found these on FAYE + CO. Be still my heart. These beautiful Thanksgiving Invitations were designed by Katie of Chellé Paperie. As Diane said, this would be an event not to be missed!

Katie was kind of enough to fill me in on the details of this sweet project. She sandwiched bookboard between two pieces of pearlized ivory card-stock then die-cut them. Each invite was then placed inside a custom linen stitched pocket. Though simple, there is something fantastically unexpected and sophisticated about this set wouldn’t you agree?

Wow! She actually had the cards di-cut. Use that di-cut girl, you go!

I love the die cut! Did Kate mention what kind of die cut machine she used?
