I’ve had this beautiful image of a Swiss sugar packet series for some time but could never remember where I found it. After a little poking around I finally found the Flickr page that I originally pulled it from. What a treat to come across it again! I’d forgotten that there were so many other lovely sugar packets from around the world here and I just had to share. Below are just a few of my favorites. So many more to see in this set by Sugar Packet Chad!

Coin Banks

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

My mother-in-law, Marilyn, was looking for a piggy bank for my nephew. I was curious to see what was out there and was pleasantly surprised to find some pretty adorable offerings. I’m pretty sure my favorite is the little elephant from Elegant Baby. The proportions are just perfect and I love the big ears and little nose!

Check out this amazing visual identity for SIS, a Scandinavian delicatessen, by Muotohiomo from Finland. This chain specializes in ecological and organic products and apparently design as well! Love the bold black & white typography paired with the more traditional plaid pattern. All the elements create such an outstanding system.

Green Inspiration Board, Yellow Inspiration Board, Blue Inspiration Board

Black Eiffel has quickly become one of my newest favorite reads and for good reason! I am completely smitten with these inspiration boards by guest blogger Jeanie Nelson. The colors are fantastic and the three together just make me want to snap my fingers in a “z” formation! Need I say more? I’m sure you’re all well aware of the awesomeness of Black Eiffel but in case you haven’t checked it out you MUST stop over for a visit. Jeanie also has a great blog: Jeanie & Jewell which showcases her own letterpress stationary and inspiration.
